Rehabilitation

A branch of rehabilitative healthcare that uses specially designed exercises and equipment, physiological therapeutics (PT) helps patients develop, maintain, and restore maximum movement and function throughout life. The role of physiological therapeutics is to assist the body using devices such as electrical muscle stimulation, ultrasound, mechanical traction, and specifically targeted exercises.

Specific exercises for your condition will also be described. Therapists provide treatment in circumstances where movement and function are threatened by gaining, injury, disease, or environmental factors. Often times, the patient will perform the exercise under the supervision of the doctor or certified personal trainers to ensure proper of all prescribed exercises. Specific instruction is given for both exercise and stretching.
